This week's characteristic: Laying Down

5. The Goddess Test (Goddess Test #1) by Aimee Carter
The colour scheme is gorgeous! But the model pose always strikes me as being odd, like there was a needle poking onto her back or something.
4. When the Sea is Rising Red by Cat Hellisen
I love the vastness of the sea, if only the model wore a longer dress...she looks skimpy in that dress, alright.

3. Crave (The Clann #1) by Melissa Darnell
Look at that facial expression! And do I love anything autumn. ^_^
2. Born Wicked (The Cahill Witch Chronicles #1) by Jessica Spotswood
I really love the colour, it's just amazing that the cover didn't turn out as yucky brown or mossy green, just somewhere in between.

1. A Certain Slant of Light (Light #1) by Laura Whitcomb
You do know I have a thing for creepy cover, don't you? :D

Again, I'm late with my post. I'm so behind of my blogging frequency *sigh*. Anyway, here're my top five.

This week’s cover characteristic: Roses
5. You Are Not Here by Samantha Schutz
4. Wuthering Heights by Emily BrontĂ«

3. Kissed by an Angel (Kissed by an Angel #1-3) by Elizabeth Chandler
2. Meridian (Fenestra #1) by Amber Kizer

1. The Tea Rose (The Tea Rose #1) by Jennifer Donnelly

Apparently, I'm very fascinated with roses with dark background LOL! Do you have your top five cover with roses on them?

This week’s cover characteristic: Blue Eyes
5. Shadows (Dark Touch #1) by Amy Meredith
4. The Iron Knight (The Iron Fey #4) by Julie Kagawa

3. The Reckoning (The Taker Trilogy #2) by Alma Katsu
2. Born Of Illusion by Teri Brown

1. Shatter Me (Shatter Me #1) and Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) by Tahereh Mafi

I know I'm a bit late (it's Monday already here). But here are my top five covers with heart(s) on it.

This week’s cover characteristic: Heart(s)
5. Love Unscripted (Love #1) by Tina Reber
4. RubĂ (Edelstein Trilogie #1) by Kerstin Gier

3. Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn, David Levithan
2. Expel (Celestra #6) by Addison Moore

1. My Love Lies Bleeding (Drake Chronicles #1) and Bleeding Hearts (Drake Chronicles #4) by Alyxandra Harvey

To be honest, at first when I thought of cover with heart(s) on it, I imagine something tacky. That's why you see a lot of covers with dark background made it to my list. I tried to balance that tackiness with a right amount of seriousness. Haha

This week’s cover characteristic: Luscious Legs
5. Sass & Serendipity by Jennifer Ziegler
I always love the combination of white and purple!
4. Sisterhood Everlasting (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants #5) by Ann Brashares
This is a creative angle for a book cover, isn't it? :)

3. Deadly Little Voices (Touch #4) by Laurie Faria Stolarz
I love the swirly box surrounding the title font. And this series also has among the best book titles.
2. Book of Love (Knight Angels #1) by Abra Ebner
Love the contrast and the body language of the model

1. The Lost Saint (The Dark Divine #2) &The Dark Divine (The Dark Divine #1)  by Bree Despain
Once I laid my eyes on The Dark Divine I know I have to read it. And now I finished the whole series LOL. That's the power of book covers.

This week’s cover characteristic: Forest/Woods
5. Defiance (Defiance #1) by C.J. Redwine
It was definitely the cover which drew me in the first time I found out about Defiance. I gave it 4-stars but now I re-think about it, it wasn't that memorable. *Shrugs*
4. Goddess Interrupted (Goddess Test #2) by Aimee Carter
Not that I have any interest to read any books of this series but they have gorgeous cover, aren't they?

3. Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #1)  by Maggie Stiefvater
I still remember the moment I checked Shiver out of the library, I couldn't stop touching the cover! LOL
2. Touching the Surface  by Kimberly Sabatini
I don't know what happened to this book. It should be out already but it is like nobody done anything to promote it?

1. Boundless (Unearthly, #3)  by Cynthia Hand
Amazing, amazing, amazing! I must pre-order Boundless with this cover.

This week’s cover characteristic: Town/City Background

The theme is easier for me this time around. Apparently every girl on the covers that I've chosen except Dark Star is facing the opposite direction. Completely unintentional, LOL!

5. Until I Die by Amy Plum
I've read Die For Me and I swear I won't go near her books again. Have you seen the cover for Book 3? Such a disappointment. It is as bad as the cover for Heaven (Halo, #3)

4. The Last Princess by Galaxy Graze
Galaxy Craze? Lolwut? Emm...the reviews haven't been convincing so far. So...we'll see.

3. Above by Leah Bobet
This book was so hyped before it was released but once it was, all the buzz died down?

2. Dark Star by Bethany Frenette
As Disney-Hyperion doesn't offer ARCs to bloggers anymore, it's hard to tell whether this is a book worth-waiting or not.

1. Orleans by Sherri L. Smith
Author of Flygirl? Weird, never heard of her before. Anyway, that cover with that slight tilt with that strong sun flare just drawn me in the first time I saw it.

This week’s cover characteristic: Vampire Fangs

This week theme is a lot harder than the last time because I think I had enough with books about vampires. And a lot of vampire books also fall into adult or erotica genre (which I will never read). So here are my selections:

5. Drink, Slay, Love by Sarah Beth Durst
Hands down, among the funniest book I ever read. This is like a subtle parody for Twilight.

4. Thirst No. 1: The Last Vampire, Black Dice, and Red Dice (Thirst #1) by Christopher Pike
I've heard a lot of Christopher Pike but nah, I'm not that drawn to read his books yet.

3. Blue Bloods (Blue Bloods #1) by Melissa de la Cruz
Reviews have been really mixed for this one and can I add that the series might be too damn long. So, yup. Still ain't going to read this series yet.

2. Untamed (House of Night #4) by P.C. Cast
I'm just glad I didn't buy the books from this series after I went fangirling over Twilight (which I'm not anymore. Haha!) I don't think the reviews are convincing enough.

1. Scent of a White Rose (The Rose Trilogy #1) by Tish Thawer
I never heard of this book/series before! But I really like that cover! Will I ever going to read this? Hmmm...like I said before, vampires are not my favourite supernatural creatures.
